There exists another world, inaccessible to humans, that has developed its history at the same time as the Earth. It is known by its human-like natives as Pichania, and the few humans who knew of its existence called it "where evil came from".
During the most ancient eras, the inhabitants of Pichania knew about several bridges or portals (picjqnsis) that linked the two worlds, and that only could be crossed by them, in both directions. When humans tried to cross, they disintegrated without a trace.
After the Second Great Cataclysm, all portals became inaccessible except one at the northernmost edge of Pichania, known since then simply as the Picjqnsi. Or at least, that's what people say...
Since then, many pichanos have crossed the bridge, almost always returning and carrying terrestrial objects with them. This is how Pichania has developed technologically at the same time as the Earth, although maybe a few years behind.
About a thousand years ago, a little boy was lost inside a cave in Central Aqooadhia. After several days exploring the cave in an attempt to get out of it, he finally saw a light. Believing it was the exit, he went towards it and appeared on what seemed to be the outside.
But there he found himself facing the sea, in a place with a totally different landscape than the one he knew. Nearby, he saw a fortified city that seemed to penetrate into the waters.
He managed to sneak into the city, and for some time he lived on the street, usually stealing and sometimes begging. One day a married couple of Muladi aristocrats of Mozarabic origin, who could not have children, saw something in the child that caught their attention and decided to adopt him. They assumed, by their appearance, that he was an orphaned Moorish boy.
He soon learned that he lived in the east of the Iberian Peninsula, in a city called Peñíscola, and that it was a time of wars, conquests, reconquests, attacks from the sea and betrayals. He learned Arabic and also other languages that at the beginning cost him time to differentiate: Spanish, Catalan and Aragonese. He forgot his mother tongue and finally forgot his original name and homeland.
But his non-human instincts remained with him. When he grew up, he was soon known for his fierceness and cruelty in battle, earning the nickname of “the Wolf”.
He rose rapidly in power until he was crowned king of Mursiya, formerly known as Myrtea, land of myrtle. In addition to his brutality, he stood out for his strategic intelligence and he managed to make his kingdom extend to Seville in the west.
He ordered the construction of a large palace surrounded by endless gardens for him. He lived adopting the customs that interested him the most from both the Muslim religion and the Christian culture of the area. He boasted that he had the greatest harem with the most beautiful women and that he was the man who ate the most ham in the world.
This, coupled with his unfair way of imparting justice, made him earn enemies everywhere. On several occasions he was betrayed and almost murdered, which at the end of his life caused him to see conspiracies against him behind each corner, behind each wall, behind each lattice... And in most cases, he was right.
His suspicions made him murder one of his daughters and several of his grandchildren, as well as to lock two of his viziers in a tower until they died of hunger. None of that affected him in the least: he had children, grandchildren and advisers to spare.
The Wolf King died after months of agony due to a strange disease. He never knew that the disease had been caused by poisoning.

Existe otro mundo, inaccesible para los humanos, que ha desarrollado su historia de forma paralela a la Tierra. Es conocido por sus nativos de apariencia humana como Pichania, y los pocos humanos que supieron de su existencia lo llamaron "allí de donde procede el mal".
Durante las épocas más antiguas, los habitantes de Pichania conocían varios puentes o portales (picjqnsis) que unían los dos mundos, y que solo ellos eran capaces de cruzar en ambos sentidos. Cuando alguna vez lo intentó un humano, se desintegró sin dejar rastro.
Tras el Segundo Gran Cataclismo, todos los portales quedaron inaccesibles menos uno en el extremo más lejano en el norte de Pichania, conocido desde entonces sencillamente como el Picjqnsi. O al menos, eso es lo que se dice...
Muchos pichanos han cruzado el puente a lo largo de la historia, casi siempre volviendo y llevando consigo objetos terrestres. Es así como Pichania se ha desarrollado tecnológicamente al mismo tiempo que la Tierra, tal vez unos años por detrás.
Hace unos mil años, un niño se perdió en una cueva de Aqooadhia Central. Tras varios días explorando la cueva en un intento de salir de ella, finalmente vio una luz. Creyendo que era la salida, fue hacia ella y salió a lo que parecía ser el exterior.
Pero allí se encontró frente al mar, en un lugar con un paisaje totalmente diferente a lo que conocía. Cerca, vio una ciudad amurallada que parecía adentrarse en las aguas.
Logró colarse en la ciudad, y durante un tiempo vivió en la calle, habitualmente robando y a veces mendigando. Un día un matrimonio de aristócratas muladíes de origen mozárabe, que no podía tener hijos, vieron algo en él y decidieron adoptarlo. Asumieron, por su apariencia, que era un niño moro huérfano.
Pronto aprendió que vivía al este de la Península Ibérica, en una ciudad llamada Peñíscola, y que era una época de guerras, conquistas, reconquistas, ataques desde el mar y traiciones.
Aprendió árabe y también otras lenguas que al principio le costó mucho diferenciar: castellano, catalán y aragonés. Olvidó su lengua materna y finalmente olvidó su nombre original y su tierra natal.
Pero sus instintos no humanos permanecieron con él. Cuando creció, pronto destacó por su fiereza y crueldad en la batalla, ganándose el sobrenombre de Lobo.
Ascendió rápidamente en el poder hasta que fue coronado rey de Mursiya, anteriormente conocida como Myrtea, tierra de mirtos.
Además de por su brutalidad, destacó por su inteligencia estratégica y consiguió que su reino se extendiera hasta Sevilla por el oeste.
Mandó que le construyeran un gran palacio rodeado de interminables jardines y vivió adoptando las costumbres que más le interesaron de la religión musulmana y de la cultura cristiana de la zona. Se jactó de poseer el harén más grande y con las mujeres más bellas y de ser el hombre que más jamón comía en el mundo.
Esto, unido a su modo injusto de impartir justicia, le granjeó enemigos por todos lados. En varias ocasiones intentaron traicionarlo y asesinarlo, lo que provocó que al final de su vida viera conspiraciones en su contra detrás de cada esquina, detrás de cada pared, detrás de cada celosía... Y en la mayoría de los casos estaba en lo cierto.
Sus sospechas le llevaron a mandar asesinar a una de sus hijas y a varios de sus nietos, así como a encerrar a dos de sus visires en una torre hasta que murieron de hambre. Nada de esto le afectó lo más mínimo: tenía hijos, nietos y asesores de sobra.
El Rey Lobo murió tras meses de agonía por una extraña enfermedad. Él nunca supo que la enfermedad había sido provocada por un envenenamiento.
